DPDP Compliance

Effective as of June 1, 2024, Divine Flavors of India complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), India’s landmark legislation governing the processing of digital personal data. This page explains how your rights under the DPDP are respected, even though our website does not collect personal data through registration or databases.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India, including data collected through automated means such as cookies, web analytics, and server logs. Although Divine Flavors of India does not require user registration or store personal data in a database, we may collect limited, non-identifiable usage data via third-party analytics tools to improve our content and user experience. This data is processed solely for legitimate business purposes and never for profiling or targeted advertising.

Your Rights Under DPDP

Under the DPDP, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your digital personal data
  • Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to withdrawal of consent for any data processing
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your data has been mishandled

Please note: Since we do not collect or store identifiable personal data, these rights apply only in the rare event that identifiable data is inadvertently collected through contact forms or feedback submissions.

How We Comply

Divine Flavors of India ensures DPDP compliance by:

  • Not collecting or storing any personal data unless voluntarily provided via contact forms
  • Using only privacy-focused, anonymized analytics tools
  • Ensuring all third-party service providers adhere to DPDP standards
  • Not transferring data outside India unless necessary and compliant with cross-border provisions

Data We Process

We may process the following types of data:

  • IP addresses (anonymized)
  • Browser type and device information (aggregated)
  • Pages visited and time spent on site (aggregated analytics)
  • Voluntarily submitted information via contact forms (name, email, message)

All such data is processed only to enhance user experience and is never sold or shared with advertisers.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of data is based on:

  • Consent — when you voluntarily submit information via contact forms
  • Legitimate interest — for website functionality, security, and performance analytics

We do not rely on contractual necessity or legal obligation as our basis for processing.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights under the DPDP, please contact us via email at [email protected]. Include:

  1. Your full name
  2. Your email address (if you provided it)
  3. A clear description of your request (access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent)

We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request.

Response Timeframes

Under the DPDP, we are required to respond to data subject requests within 30 days. In exceptional circumstances, we may extend this period by an additional 15 days and will notify you promptly if this occurs.

No Discrimination Policy

Divine Flavors of India will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of experience to any user who exercises their rights under the DPDP.

Updates and Changes

We may update this DPDP Compliance page periodically to reflect changes in law or our practices. Any material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.
